Data published by the Property Industry Alliance confirms that in 2016 the UK Commercial property market was worth £883 billion and accounted for 13% of the value of all buildings in the UK.  Over half of all commercial property was rented, compared to only one third of residential homes. The commercial property industry employed over 1 million people.

Property Portfolio Management has a watching brief on profitable investment opportunities from both the residential and commercial property sectors. We are currently representing a client who has instructed us to sell a large commercial premise together with planning permission to demolish aforementioned premises and replace it with 18 flats and 11 houses.

The site will have a combined Gross Development Value of in excess of £10 million and represents Property Portfolio Management’s biggest single deal to date.

Mixed Use

We have also sourced some high rental yield mixed use (Commercial and Residential) properties in Port Talbot which we will look to bring to market in the next 7 days.

These properties are all retail outlets with apartments above and are a strong addition to any portfolio; all
units will be sold at below market value for a quick sale.

We believe a healthy mix of residential and commercial property projects has enabled us to diversify risk and deliver decent levels of Return on Investment to our group of investors.
