How we are Using PropTech to lead the Market

There is always a lot of competition in any industry and property investing is no different. For every decent investment opportunity there will usually be quite a few potential investors and developers queuing up to get involved. At Property Portfolio Management we have a watching brief on new technologies that will enable us to stay ahead of the competition. Digital transformation has arrived in the property sector and PropTech is the name used to describe the new technological advancements that will change the face of the industry.

What is PropTech?

Definition:  “PropTech is one small part of the wider digital transformation of the property industry. It describes a movement driving a mentality change with the real estate industry and its consumers regarding technology-driven innovation in the data assembly, transaction, and design of buildings and cities.”

This is the first accepted definition of PropTech put forward by academic Professor Andrew Baum (author of the first academic report into PropTech and PropTech influencer James Dearsley. 

3D Construction Printing and Building Information Modelling are just two examples of PropTech that have already changed the way some new buildings have been designed and built.

Using PropTech to Lead the Market
