When I started my career the word entrepreneur wasn’t used as much as it is today.
Many people now want to become entrepreneurs.
I am convinced that most people do not know what it takes or the sort of people who succeed as entrepreneurs.
Throughout my career, I have worked for a few entrepreneurs and they shared a common trait.
The one Trait That all Entrepreneurs Share
I was given my ‘big break’ by an entrepreneur.
His approach to business and life could be summed up as this, if it didn’t suit his end goal, he wasn’t interested.
People and relationships were expendable.
He introduced me to a new concept, ‘unreasonable management.’
He was prepared to be unreasonable to ensure that his goals were achieved.
It was quite an eye opener for me at the time.
Was I prepared to emulate him? It was something that I struggled with but recognised that all successful entrepreneurs had it.
Have you ever worked with an entrepreneur? How was the experience? Let me know in the comments section below.
